The Connecticut Veterans Memorial, located in West Hartford is a tribute dedicated to the United States Armed Servicemen and women who have served our country from the beginning of its history. Cubic Charcoal Black cubic blocks are aligned in a circular design creating the Memorial’s Wall of Peace. Each time U.S. Armed Forces went to war, the smooth circular pattern is broken and the names of West Hartford veterans who lost their lives are engraved into the black granite blocks. The cubic blocks feature a polished top with Rock Pitch facing. A solid Charcoal Black granite paved path creates the Memorial’s Walk of Remembrance.
